Only loosely based on the Bible. Many odd ideas, so odd that you know you are watching version written by a complete Hollywood non-believer and so it is hard to get offended.

The totally different approaches to things get you thinking.

Unbelievable, I have never seen a depiction of the Gospel of Jesus that had Romans as the bad guys that killed Jesus, normally it is always depicted that the evil Jews did it!

Unsure if we will ever watch it again.
